A stylized map of Imperial City. The city is a large, curved crater, descending from high cliffs around the edges to a deep bay called The Well at the lowest point. Train tracks cut across the city on the south side and run above the bay.
Several rivers run into the city. Most of them disappear into the cliffs, but one, the Veridane River, is above ground. The city is surrounded by a mountain range called the Blackwall Mountains. An arrow pointing west indicates the location of Devil’s Tooth.
The city contains 20 districts. Starting from the southwest promontory and circling around clockwise, they are: Beacon Hill; Bayrise; Robelston; Corvus Row; Dunmore Ridge; Silvercliff; Veldaire Hill; The Palisades; Amaryl Square; Suncrest; The Belltower; Portmarch; The Docks; Tourmaline Park; Ivyridge; Riverside; Kestrel Heights; Bonestown; Ironworks; and Fort Koster. Underneath the city, in the cliffs, is a district called the Shadowfields.
The Whisky Jays operate out of Kestrel Heights, which is near the center of the city, next to the river. Their employers, the Nightcaps, work in Corvus Row, which is on the other side of the city from Kestrel Heights.
